the buds on the top half of the plant are almost done......but undergrowth and smaller budsites are still mostly white hairs (duh).......... so my question is....is it better to just trim off bud by bud when they are to my liking....or should i just cut the stalk like halfway down and leave the lower section for another week what do you think???? which is the better way...this or just chop it all???
Some folk say NEVER trim bud, but so long as you don't go daft and descimate the plant, it shouldn't hurt it. Also, if you took the top buds off, you could then move the light down closer to the lower bud sites, so they ripen more quickly. Consider ScroG or SOG for future grows, it removes these issues. -mu
yeah, i want to do scrog next time............... i was just worried that cutting main sections would shock it and the bottoms wouldnt develope from that any further. thanks for the advice guys...... considering that i have 12 of em' here...........i can afford a little experimenting with differnt techniques on some of the lesser plants..........not that any are not covered in trichs.....but less than the real nice looking ones
