Ok so i have an auto flower plant the strain is viking tropical anyways i just wanted to know what should i look for when harvesting i heard its best to get a magnifier and inspect the trichomes on the buds but is there any other way of checking ?
Meno.. If it still sparkles in the sun it's not done.. If it looks like it's dipped in sugar frosting it's very close.. When that sugar starts to brown it's done.. Radio shack sells a 15 dollar hand held microscope that gets the job done just fine.. Take a few tiny snips off and on a table see just what you have.. BNW

The trichromes should be milky and you should have between 10-50% of the trichromes turn amber. Anything past 50% you rush the THC degrading. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
