Harvesting my Purple Kush

Discussion in 'Harvesting and Processing Marijuana' started by Riprazor, Mar 26, 2015.

  1. My two Purple Kush plants were flipped to 12/12 on February 2 so they are on day 52 of flowering. About 1/3 of the trichomes are amber and all the hairs are brown. The nursery flowering recommendation is actually 63 to 70 days. I would like to let these go longer but do not want to let them get past their prime. I am not really sure what to do or how much longer I can go without risking the quality of the harvested product? 52 days seems pretty short especially when the recommendation from the nursery is 63 to 70 days. I am a little less concerned after reading the sticky post which leaves me to believe I may be OK going another 10 days or so. As always thanks for your help! Do not want to ruin 4 months of work.
