I have a sativa that I've been flowering for 9 weeks many of the pistils have turned red and curled in but its still showing major new pistol growth each day so my question is how many weeks max should I let it go before harvest because i don't want to end up with sleep meds like my last grow. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
Do you have anything to see what colour the trichs are. ( magnifying glass). If it is a sativa then it shouldn't be sleep meds.10-11 weeks I would say without seeing it. Longer the better with sativa. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Boo is correct the longer the better with any sativa,....more so on your latitude, unless you live in a tropical location or have an updated grow room ...getting sativas to finish north of the border can be a struggle for many growers old or new? ...on your next grow look for hybrids ..?
