If fan leafs aren't quite yellow just yet, am I harvesting too soon??Also noticing some plants with white hairs still...
The white hairs may signal that it's not ready, but go by the trichomes unless you have one of the more rare strains that stay clear when ripe. Green fan leaves don't necessarily equate to ripeness.
How about my girl. She look about ready? She still got some white hairs going on down below but her top leaves are nice and crispy. Thinking I'll chop her this week
I'm growing guava dawg (star dawgx tres dawg ). I've went to the trichomes and all are cloudy but I want to make sure I reach max growth and potency !
Sounds like an awesome strain that has a nice balanced buzz! I like to cut when the trichomes are all cloudy and before there's too much amber or it makes me tired. For me, once the trichomes are cloudy and I see some amber, it's ready and the optimal harvest time is then just a matter of personal taste.
