Obviously the goal is to harvest the entire plant at once and have all colas to maturity, but this discussion is about the length of time it takes to harvest a single plant. I prefer to do all my trimming at once as soon as it is cut, when everything is the most perky and easy to trim...if your leaves go limp dick you might as well let the entire thing dry and pull the leaves off when dry. If it takes several hours to trim a plant and your risking the plant going limp is there anything wrong with cutting off one branch at a time trimming the branch up then cutting another branch? Does this shock the plant to do any harm to the last branches I make it to? Should the entire plant be cut from the base before branches are removed?
I do the same I harvest all at once But I do know of many growers who they say ..." Not all apples mature at once" same with trics sequential harvesting is done by the really fussy guys I've done it but hey I'm for the plant I care about and prefer to give her a quick death No biggy at all take a branch every few days check with your 30x scope first good luck
@PinkFloydEffect I can't stand trimming a limp plant and it's super hot and dry here so it's always a branch at a time for me as more then 10 or 15 minutes off the living plant and it's wilting. BNW
