I have noticed some people have a misconception about weed. If you have good weed, your gonna cough. It is called expansion. Smoke expands in your lungs and blows them out. I have coughed 5 minutes straight. Hurts like a bitch. But that's some good weed. But there is harsh weed. That just chokes ya, scratches your throat, tastes like the desert. That is what u want to avoid. Those who cough.....
I've felt like I'm coughing up a testicle before but the last several months with the strain I've been smoking (someone else's grow) I don't, but I don't get good and high from it either.
I've had some crazy good weed that didn't make me cough or tear up at all. I've noticed that if the weed makes me cough or choke in a "good" way it will be because of the taste or it's such a thick smoke the ehxhale kills it. I get that burning behind the eyes and they get watery after a minute. If I'm smoking harsh weed because it's just shit, you feel it immediately on the inhale, you'll taste it and want to die before you even start to exhale. It leaves that scratchy feeling in the throat and I always cough / cry immediately. I can hold down the cough from good weed, but if it's shit, I'm busting a lung.
Definitely. It's usually about bad flushing or curing. Also if it's got a musky, old lady perfume kinda smell and taste to it, there's a good chance it's been "contaminated" by ONA Gel.
