Harmonica Players

  1. I play a few instruments and Iv been looking into getting a harmonica. I was wondering if anybody could suggest good blues harp. or suggest me to stay away from any. iv been looking into the Honer 20's but every time i go to the sto they get pissed when i play them. id like to get at least 2 or 3 keys so i cant be shellin out a shit ton. any suggestions?
     
  2. I'd like to know also. But I'd be playing mine with an acoustic guitar.
     
  3. I don't anything about which one you should get but here are a few hamonica players you should check out if you already havent:

    James Cotton
    Al Wilson
    Sonny Terry
    Toots Thielemans (my personal favorite)
    Sonny Boy Williamson
    Charlie McCoy

    Thats all I can think of, hope that helps.
     
  4. If you're open to jazz harmonica rather than blues, check out Guido Basso. He plays the fluegelhorn and trumpet, and is also an amazing harmonica player.

    Dedications is an album with him playing fluegelhorn and harmonica. Worth checkin out.
     
  5. I ended up goin with the Hohner 532/20 Blues. I got keys C and G. Thanks for the help.
