  1. Are any of you heads going to the bluegrass festival in GGP tomorrow?

This is going to be an awesome day, with sun, and dozens of fine acts. Cute hippies all over the place. Bring your own beer. But the parking is going to be tough with hundreds of thousands of fans.

I'll be at the Banjo Stage from 3:20 to 4:20 to check out Ricky Skaggs, Bruce Hornsby, and Kentucky Thunder, if anyone wants to meet up and have a good 4:20 sesh.

I'll be centered out between the two speakers, and somewhat behind the soundboard.

If you watch my video you might be able to figure out what I look like.

Or keep your eyes peeled for the guy with the magnifyer doing solar hits. That's me!!

This is the third year of this cool festival. I have never seen more than 2 cops at the whole concert... no one is getting busted for smoking weed. What a fun party!

  2. That seems like a good time. I haven't been to a bluegrass festival in a few years, but they always kick ass. A nice change of pace musically for most people.

  3. OK, the bluegrass festival was awesome as expected. Saw lots of fine musical acts that I was interested in. Moonalice was the one surprise for me on Sunday.

    Funny story:

I dragged my brother and his friend to the park on Sunday. They had some 40 oz beers and were walking around drinking like everyone else. They're both underage, and were quickly scooped up by some SFPD. Once they determined that they didn't have any drugs or paraphernalia on them they made them pour out their beers and recycle the bottles. My brother even showed the officer his fake ID (which looks real and even has a scannable strip on back) which shows him as over 21. The officer took the id, verifyed his name and address (different county), and handed it back to him, even though they were busting them for underage drinking. ???!!! Weird, they admitted to being under 21, but he had an over 21 ID. So they let the kids go and he still has the ID. Lucky kids.

  4. I'm glad you had a good time. My friend's older borther went and said it was awesome.
