Hard water stains in chambers of my bong.

  1. Hey GC,

Ive got an 18" ZoB Mini, with two eight arm perc chambers. Ive had it for a month and there are hard water stains in the perc. chambers and I don't know how to get rid of them. I cant scrub them because there is a splash guard and an ice catcher above them. I'm also against using really harsh chemicals. Ive tried 91% ISO but it doesn't cut it. Help?

  2. try some Simple Green. Non toxic and it works pretty well.

  3. try Kaboom Professional... i think it's something billy mayes used to sell, but i'm sure you can find anywhere. pour enough in till you reach the top of the stain you are trying to remove. let it soak for a few minutes- this would be a good time to hit one of your other pieces. when you return you will find your piece sparkling clean. pour out the Kaboom and do a very thorough iso and salt cleansing. then run hot water through it for a few minutes. your piece should look nearly new if done correctly.

  4. I've used CLR and just soaked it for about 30 minutes. Stains come right off.

  5. clean glass, soak in white vinegar for 30-60 minutes, rinse in cold water.

    its cheap, effective, and reusable.:bongin:

  6. Maybe you should try this
Just because Billy Mayes promoted it
