  1. Happy tree frog is burning my plants what should i do to help them!!

  2. i use happy frog. never had any burn. how old are they?

  3. 4th week.. the leafs are curling in along the sides and burnt at the tip:/. im afraid to add nutes but its time to start feeding.

  4. I grow with Happy Frog, no added perlite/vermiculite. I haven't had any issues. Might be over/underwater, or a PH issue, it would help if you threw up some pics. was the PH of your water? is it tap, distilled, RO?

  5. cant put up any pics phone gets lines when under a hps bulb. been using bottled spring water. i used tap one time cause i was out of bottled water. hps lights get really fuckin hot fans usually help that?

  6. if you have a decent pair of sunglasses put one of the lenses over your phone camera. and yes fans help with heat. what size flower pots are you using and how far is the light from the tops of the plants?

  7. there's no way happy frog would burn a plant on it's own...

I think it's the water you're watering with. Any idea on the pH of that spring water??

  8. right, or if there would be any burning it would be way before week 4

  9. sounds like heat issues
leaves looklike tacos? U shaped? then u need to get ur temps down or raise ur light

  10. there was burnin around week 2. i let it go cause i figured i would be okay just give it water when the soil is dry. i was using cfls before i just hooked up my hps last night and its about 18 inches away from the plant. this is first grow so im new to things. ph on the water i have no clue but yea they are U shape but the node growth isnt doing that. i will get my raybans and get some pics up for yall this afternoon. i appreciate the help everyone.

  11. I also use happy frog with no problems, even with seedlings( and a little flush). I like it cause it stays wet longer than the ocean forest.

  12. I believe that is usually heat. The plant is trying to maximize it's surface area to increase transpiration.

Or I'm waaaay off base and just made at least 1 word up, either way I'd look elsewhere then nutrient burn since Happy frog is what people go to when FFOF is too hot, or that's what I did at least before taking the organics plunge.
