hanging

  1. this year a buddy of mine grew a single plant from bagseed. its mostly indica, around 60 40.
he chopped it at the bottom this morning and its now hanging in a dark closet with a fan, leaves and all. ive heard a few things about leaving the fan leaves on so the sugars drain into the bud before trimming. when is the right time for the leaves to be removed? hes leaving all the resiny leaves on the bud so it takes the look of some swazi shit. but as of now the tips of the fan leaves are curling, and the serations are folding in. the leaves are also becoming real droopy. i have no clue what to tell him for i manicure right after harvest. any advice supported by experience will appreciated. :smoke:

  2. trim it up now. when cut its done

  3. Much easier to trim the fan leaves when wet, just after harvest.

  4. alrighty sweet. thanks dudes.

  5. yeah, i'd trip those fan leaves and any longer leaf tips before hanging. it will help them dry faster I think.
