My dealer is a Junior in High School(I graduated 09 I met him when he was a sophomore) The thing is he doesn't drive. So its often "can you pick me up from X to take me to Y to get my shit". While I'm not complaining about being his driver because he sells it to me cheaper to make up for it, what I am complaining about is how awkward it is sometimes. We might go to BK or something and its just weird being there with him, I can't explain it. Anyone else got anything to relate?
the dealer/customer relationship can sometimes be an awkward one. but remember dealers are people too. people call them all day just for one thing and once they get it they peace out and don't return until they have to. it doesn't always have to be strictly business. dealers can be some pretty lonely people who sometimes just want someone to share a blunt and conversation with. trust me
Get to know him better about things other than weed. Take him for a blunt ride too. It shouldn't be that awkward if you known him for more than a year. Do you never talk to him?
Yeah I feel the same way with my dealer. I am a senior and he is a year younger. He goes to another school but has a lot of the same friends as I do and sometimes ends up at the same parties. It is akward sometimes because he is a little strange. Only good thing is that whenever he does end up at the same parties, he is always the first one packing the bolls and rollding the blunts so thats a plus.
Dealers are just normal people. Don't really find it awkward. Then again most of the ones i know are pretty close friends.
ya i've always found that i usually become pretty good friends with my dealers. Maybe its cuase im a regular I'm not sure, but i know that its always better to be a closer friend. It keeps them from skimping the bags
^this. One of my main dealers is my fuckin boy. I love chillin with my dealers. Some of them even hook up free bud when your smoking with them
qustions or comments about sports or music are typically a good way to break the ice. just like you would with anyone else. sometimes dealers can seem like weird people but think about what they do for a living and the people they deal with on a daily basis. especially for dealers that sell harder drugs and the customers they have to deal with. putting up with fiends, moochers, fake friends and sketchy suppliers not to mention watching out for jackers and cops. a few little personality quirks are no big deal.
That doesn`t seem that akward...it all depends on what the persons like. My old dealer was a mexican gangster type guy that mainly sold coke I had nothing in common with him it was just akward. My new guy is 51 and he sells a bunch of different drugs but we chill all the time. It all depends really.
My dealer is my future son-in-law, so it don't feel awkward to me at all. It might to him, though...lol
i've come across all sorts of characters from both the dealer and customer perspectives and let me just say that it certainly pays (no pun intended) to keep an open mind and a positive vibe in the dealer/customer relationship
Haha, word. I got a pretty professional relationship with my dealer, just a little small talk on shit that's happening today, and how nice the last stuff was usually haha. He's about 6-7 years older than me.
Anyone who sells me weed is ma friend unless they rip me off they never c me again but opur basically the guys drIver u desrvev some free weed
i guess for me theyve always been friends first, or people i met first and got cool with before i started buying off them. or past friends, or coworkers, etc. so i usually consider my dealer my friend and not my dealer, they just happen to be the one who hooks me up. and i definitely stay chill with them, they got to deal with a bunch of bullshit so i try to make it as easy as i can for the both of us. but theres never awkward moments, cuz its just like kickin it with my friends too.
