Has anyone tried hanging extra LED light/s on the side of the plant and pointing the light towards the side of the plant to give more light to parts of the plant that is 6 inches or more below the canopy?
Yes, and it increases production. You can also turn down the main light some. I've done this several times in different ways. There are several papers that prove this produces more yield. One dissertation indicated that 5000 color temp was better for cannabinoid production.
