I understand. I also have limits. But me a @JoshuaE have seen the difference of what side lighting can do, enough so that I've downsized my grow so to including some supplemental lighting at the sides, the product is better. We also discuss strips, and Joshua found these nice strips you may want to consider in the future Small Spaces
He's telling the truth man . I grow autos also and have had some nice ones 6-8 ounces , solid stuff. I added the sidelights and came away with 2 × 12 ounce autos! To be fair I did also lower my plant count so they had some more room also. Check them out, my best to date.
The side lighting is also discussed in a recent (2019) dissertation that considered the matter. Can post it if you want to see... he said blue though ... anyhow. gah..mazin!

Buds are getting hella fat, I've had to support quite a few colas best I could. I'm at 2200 PPMs now on the Bruce Banners. The Lemon Zkitlles are flowering and stretching as well. The day has come ! I dumped the res on monday, and filled it with flushing solution. I'll start my harvest this afternoon. That will be exactly 2 days of flushing. I'm definitely seeing it in the leaves! Buds have swollen, the branches are falling over from all the weight lol. A little bit of foxtailing but not too bad. Alright so buds are all jared up and curing, I've gotten the whole system broken down, cleaned, and re assembled. I've got a few different strains germinating right now so depending on what pops, I will throw 3 of the same strain in this system for the next grow. My choices will be, Kortana, Dreamberry, G14, Lemon Skunk, Bruce Banner I found it kinda funny that the freebie seeds I got from greybeard where Bruce banners lol. I got my hands on some GDPxGumberry by garden of green seeds. I have 3 baby girls in the system now. I'm looking forward to seeing some purple nugs ! I'm definitely setting up a trellis net for this grow. I'm also seriously considering converting this deep water culture to an aquaculture and go full organic. I'm loving the results I have gotten with my other grows, especially the fact that it doesn't cost much at all after initial set up. Oh and the taste is amazing. I'm sitting at 250 PPMs and these little ladies seem very happy. My VPDs are sitting at a very comfortable 1.3, this is my first summer without the AC in the closet.
