  1. Thank you sir! The kharma will be passed along to the overachieving young lady. As far as the seeds, those damn things are expensive, and kinda risky to get, so having a nice stash of them is common sense to me.

  2. Awesome grow, Great Job!

  3. Very nice mate, very nice. How well does that odor killer work? I'm planning on a carbon filter for my grow, but a back-up plan would be good. I would hate to have to kill off my plants because they smell too much.

  4. The odor killer actually works quite well, I am pleased with it, my house doesn't smell like weed when I get home from work, and this plant started stinking before it started to flower.

  5. Day 40

Just a quick photo update, she got a little too close to the lights, thus some burned leaf tips. Still growing flowers swiftly, I believe the seed count won't be too ridiculous.

  6. Day 41
Early this afternoon I gave her a full strength nute blast of BigBloom and TigerBloom. I have been watering at approximately2/3 strength, every other watering and she has done fine, so I figured what the hell, give her full strength. Lights were off for 4 hours and just came back on, no signs of stress yet, hopefully she just makes more delicious flowers. She's drinking about a half gallon every other day. She's in a 3 gallon pot.

  7. veryyy sexy lady!!!! :D the buds are forming nicely. hows the trich development going?

  8. The trichomes have just started showing in earnest. I may give a very light dose of molasses, next watering. I think I overdid the molasses on my first grow. After that, I guess I will try using Gravity. I am kinda scared to try it, it can easily fry your plant. But from what I read, the buds get much denser, with up to 15percent more total weight. Seems like a good fit for cfl's which can tend to make fluffier buds. This plant is definitely not nute intolerant. I put 2 tablespoons of BigBloom and a teaspoon and a half of TigerBloom in a half gallon of ph adjusted water yesterday, which is a pretty big dosage, and she seems very happy to have recieved the love.

  9. Beautifull plant Hambone.

    Job well done :D

  10. Thanks Walshy, she is a real stunner! But I can't take the credit. I just feed her and gently sing to her. She does all the work. If I can apply that Gravity without killing her, then I will take some credit.

  11. I think this plant, if left to it's own devices, may just be one big bud when it's done.

  12. Looking good bone! It's so nice to see bud being grown with CFL's.

  13. Hi there I'm new here and just following your journal with interest as I am planning a CFL grow in the near future. Looks great so far!

  14. Thanks guys, I was getting lonely over here, but the budporn always brings people out. I just found a lone calyx at the base of my plant, with a fat, beautiful seed resting within it. I think I am going to do an outdoor grow, in late May, early June, interspersing my lovely 14 inch autos within the soybean and corn fields that are everywhere around here. I am going to put them in 2gallon bags and bury them in the soil a bit so they aren't noticeable. I should be able to sow quite a few that way.

  15. Day 45

Things are still going smoothly, the girl is lush and green, no yellow leaves yet. I am going to apply Gravity to her in a few days. She is showing a lot more brown pistils, but my other plant did that too, and had another big growth spurt afterwards. You can still see ladybugs on her in some of the photos, they seem to love her, but my house is full of ladybugs...

  16. Very cool with the ladybugs, they are the most beneficial bug to any plant/garden. I have a curse with soil grows, mites just seems to come out of nowhere every time on me, and my fav way to treat them is to release the ladies!

  17. id say spider can be pretty dam beneficiaal to plaants too. If spiders didnt eat ladybugs... they'd be a great team ;)

the girl is looking great!!!! The bud is already filling in nicely

  18. The ladybugs always try to get in around here in the fall. The windowsills will have many poor ladybugs lying on them. So far, now that I am nearly done with my second little grow, I can say with confidence that Miracle Grow ORGANIC, worm castings, and perlite, is a fine soil. I still plan on trying FFOF, just to see if I can notice a big difference. I haven't had a single mite, or fly, or fungus. I don't really need the ladybugs, they are just nice to have around. I think they keep the plant company.

  19. they gunna get hungryyyy without any buggers to chomp on... im sure there are bugs that you dont evn notice in the area that they hunt dowwn. :devious:

  20. Pistils are starting to turn brown now, I was wondering if that was indicative of slowing bud growth? My plant has over 3 weeks to go according to what the seed website said for this strain. I figured day 70 would be close to harvest time, within a few days. I don't have enough experience to understand what the brown pistils mean. A few days ago, they were all white. Now there are about 20 percent red/brown hairs. The trichomes are increasing exponentially right now. All the foliage is still green, so I am not going to worry about it and let her continue doing her thing.
