Hair for plant

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Patricia Clemons, Jan 5, 2019.

  1. hello, Upon assembling my tent and getting my seeded red solos in there, ive begun to notice an infiltration. Of cat and dog hair.

Now i have a few cats, i have a dog. Their fur occasionally will get on my clothes,

The odds of this affecting the girls are slim yes?

afterall, a wild bear wanders into a pot patch, surely things are left behind.

A stray hair or two won't be an issue. An infiltration is another. You can fashion a filter out of nylon stocking or something similar over your intake. Try to limit animal exposure to the room the tent is in. A lot of growers change their clothes before going into their grow area to prevent spread of pests and other stuff. I don't but maybe this could help.

  3. It's not likely to actually harm the plants, but it can get stuck on them. Especially in flower. And nobody likes to smoke hair.

Is it just on your clothes or is it coming through your intake, too?

  4. I think weed a animal hair magnet. My sisters dog comes over for a weekend and my grow rooms got hair in it. Shouldn’t effect ur plants but it’s gonna effect ur smoke quality. Nastyyyyyy

  5. Animals carry mites so they aren’t allowed in my room or anywhere near

  7. I love your posts! Don't take this the wrong way but I always get a good chuckle reading them. I have this image of your tent completely filling up with cat and dog hair. I think you need to smoke a huge bowl, take a deep breath and chill.

  8. If it really bugs you, you can change shirts before entering the tent and invest in a pair of long rubber dishwashing gloves. Also, since you have pets you should check your intake filter more often. Pet hair clogs filters fast.

  10. If you end up with the hairs in your buds you can always wash them post harvest.

  11. Lmao!!! I saw dust and hair build up also. I fixed it by buying pantyhose and putting on both ends of my intake ducting. Keeps most of it out now
