Cannabis never stressed me out before. At a pretty life changing point it startet to hit differently. Veeery stressful. Ended in delusions, too detailed thinking (overthinking) and too much thinking (100% of the day). - ppl call that psychosis as well, but I don’t really like to put it in frames bc it’s very individual and diagnosis put us in cages. Anyways I know, I really deeply know that it’s a mechanism of stress. I know exactly that I could teach myself to get out of this mechanisms. Everything are habits we can unteach when unnecessary and learn new if it’s beneficial. now damn. I would love to continue smoking up. I love to get stoned But it’s different atm. I’m upset that even after hard work and getting mentally better the stoned effect worsens the success of mental health, getting back to spacing out, worrying and shit. Guys just tell me: one time mindfuck means for ever an mindfuck? i really pray that it’s not like that. one time risc for a mental issue means the tendency to have it always? No. I wanna hear from ppl who went thru shit and got better and then been able to get high on whatever and enjoy bc they trained their mind to think strong and wise. is there someone who knows that bad minds pass? And that being stoned again will be fun again? I wanna get rid of my wrong mindset. Please give advice. Gracie.
Get to understand terpenes, cannabinoids, and the entourage effect. The combination of them can have completely different effect on everyone and knowing what triggers you is very important. Welcome to the City. If your in a dispensary state and have choices pick a lower THC content in the mid teens. They tend to have a higher CBD to THC ratio. Buy a bottle of CBD oil. Take a measured amount 2 hours before using THC. If still to mind churning increase CBD amount the next days attempt. You should be able to find a happy medium ground where your buzzed but not playing brain puzzle games. It make take a bit of experimentation to find the "Zone". If you grow you can achieve some of the same softening of the stone with a late Harvest letting the plant degrade a bit. I make Hash based edibles for pain control and have learned this works to take the "ON" edge off the oil. For "Right Now" relief after smoking try inhaling the aroma of fresh ground black pepper and even chewing a peppercorn or two. BNW

Life and the world around you owes you absolutely nothing. You have to learn to deal with stress with whatever works for you. I was forced into retirement due to medical issues, have no family that lives anywhere near me and people who told me they'd help me when I needed it, not a single one does. I choose to use alcohol, weed, and pills. Probably not a smart idea but not many people will care if something does happen to me. Therapy doesn't help, just a way for someone to make some bucks off your issues so I went old school...

Hey yeah I hear ya! In my experience weed opens my mind and shows me everything but sometimes I get scared and want to run from it. That's when the flights of fancy come and I get paranoid and whatever and have psychotic episodes like you described. You were asking if there's a way to learn to use weed without it freaking you out? What helps me is not to try to stuff down whatever unpleasantries might come up for me while I'm high. Even a very unpleasant memory that I repressed before, well I tried to run from one, and ended up in a quagmire of negativity, until I finally said forget it, it's not going away so what is it? You might find, like me, that when you process it through, you eventually feel good bc you're high above the trauma, not part of it but looking down on it from a higher consciousness. I would recommend, if you want to try it again, get a friend or someone in the medical field who works with marijuana to sit with you and work through whatever comes up. Kinda like they do with DMT or MDMA therapy. Idk, just a thought based on my own experience. Best of luck!

yea damn ppl tell us that when we do differnet or not how they define good, God will be far from us. He´s never. Just right next to you and will give you answers if you want, no matter who you are. He knows what he created tho. And loves everything how it is but hates that things makes us feel terrible. Anyways. Nice from you to reply! Thanks a lot man. Were all together somehow.
heya! Nice reply, i like to read it a lot. I had similar thoughts, like using it as therapy, bc it reveals maybe our worries so theres a chance to solve them. Im not sure if i make shit up bc my problems do not exist.. Im worried about the world about the next generations about the sad face of my father when i saw him last and things like that. Anyways, good imput from you, nice to see ppl have kinda same ideas.

Whatever comes up, don't worry about whether it's real or not, just let it play out. Think of it as a movie you're watching while chilling on the couch with a bong, some popcorn and whatever beverage you want. Eventually whatever comes up for you will make sense and you will be able to let a lot of shit go that never served you. I would definitely have someone with you though if you try weed again, even a really good friend, not necessarily a therapist. You also might just start back with CBD, which of course doesn't get you high but has all the other benefits. Everyone is different. You might find that weed helps you but you also might be able to figure things out without weed, but either way, so long as you're proactive about your health, and life, you're on the right path!!!
