I agree, but for compromise, I cant really see owing them for personal use. Its all going to come down to compromise. While I'm from East Ky, and everyone has weapons, and I was an NRA member in 6th Grade. I'm 59 now, but compromise has to made on both sides. It Is a Right to own weapons, and while some compare it to driving a vehicle ect. Driving is a Privilege, not a Right. I'm also just trying to see from both sides. Like I said, I cant own a firearm, so I use dogs, and they would also like to take them away from by via banning certain breeds. Ive got 3 Adult Pitbulls, ( all 70lbs+ ) and 1 x 180lbs Turkish Kangal, that all live inside, sleep in the bed, and if you come in Unannounced, and not known by my dogs, you will be eaten alive. Also a Weapon has to be Manned to be effective, and people may be able to break in on you ect, but youre not getting past my dogs. All of them are thoroughly trained in odiedence, and attack, except the Kangal. It just Obedience trained, and are not really the kind of dog to take orders, nor respond quickly to commands. They are 100% Flock Guardians, and have been around 1000s of years. And they do 1 thing. Kill anything that messes with the flock, and yep, while they may not be as Game as a PB, they can eat 1 for lunch. Kangal has been measured to have 743lbs bite force. More than a wolf, and they can also chase a wolf down, and kill it. This is what I protect my home with. Nobody getting in, and if they do, they wont get out.

That would cause to much noise dude. Ive got neighbors, and if you go shooting off a canon, youd have to run away. The cops are only 5 blocks from my house. Military considers trained dogs the 2nd best form of self defense besides a trained military specialist. Also my dogs are trained to be silent, and let you in. But you wont get out. Also when I leave the house at night, I turn off all the lights, so theres no way in hell you could even see the dogs. My windows are also at least 5 feet off the ground, so its not going to be easy to see what going on inside. I also have heavy duty Triple Pane Plastic Windows vs Glass. No way your getting through that quietly.
But there is no in between! You either have an answer or you are okay with mass shootings you bastard! People don't have to die! Tragic events don't have to happen! Its not like tragic events that have resulted in the deaths of many have happened for as long as we've been on this earth! Its not like they'll just find another way to kill people! They'll probably just go to church and be good ole boys! Surely they wouldn't be the way they are if guns are taken out the equation because guns are the reason they act the way they act! Its not like people would hijack planes and fly them into buildings or some gizzard thing like that because the guns are causing people to be violent! Hell evil people have been massacring innocent people with weapons for centuries lol for no other reason than they can... Its better to be able to defend yourself in those circumstances in my opinion... Of course you can't defend yourself in a circumstance like this last shooting but he obviously put a lot of planning into it and im sure even if he couldn't get his guns with mods he would of found another way to inflict chaos... These tragic situations are terrible but they should not impact legal law abiding citizens who use their weapons to defend themselves that's just crazy because in the end the mentally disturbed people that want to inflict violence are going to. There have been plenty of times where a legal law abiding citizen who was carrying stopped a tragic event..
Not true. While Federal Law does dictate the Legal ownership of Black Powder, SOME STATE/LOCAL LAWS CAN, and DO Consider them Firearms. I totally went through all of this at Pre Release. Well if theyre crazy, theres better ways to do damage to someone. I myself would put Gasoline/Diesel Fuel all over Every Door and lower window to the house, and set it on fire, so if they want out, theyre going to have to go through fire. Your scenario isn't logical. In that case, they could also have a nuclear weapon, or some kind of nerve agent. All I can tell you is that Ive used dogs... Pitbulls Mainly..... since 1980 to protect my home, and have NEVER been broken in on, and most everyone knows my dogs will eat the bones off of your flesh. No Exceptions. And theyre not trained to be called off either. Theyre 100% Attack Trained, and WIll Kill You. Its also hard to get a 180lbs dog off of someone. Ive had up to 7 Fully Trained Adult PBs living in my home. They also work as a pack, and will totally rip the guts out of someone. This is my Kangals father. 38 inches at Shoulder 196lbs. 33 inch neck.

You act like a firearm is some complex piece of equipment that it takes great skill to operate. It isn't. Driving is infinitely more complex a task than safely storing, cleaning, loading and using a gun. You don't need to keep your gun in a safe to keep it away from children. Store the gun in one place, ammunition in a separate but accessible spot that kids can't get to (like on top of your dresser). Show the guns to your kids, explain that they aren't toys and teach them the proper safety skills long before you ever let them shoot them. It's that kind of responsible gun owner who you are going to be disarming with gun restrictions. The stupid bangers that commit 70% of the firearm murders in the US will pay about as much attention to new laws as they do to the existing ones.
