?

Was owning rifles, snipers, etc meant in the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms?

  1. great, then what do you suggest?

  2. How do you stop a millionaire from buying whatever he wants? Do you think gun control would have done anything? Because I don't

  3. Considering they can buy drugs underage hookers and military ordinance (all of which are illegal, restricted, banned) I don't think fuck all would come of banning guns other than innocent civilian murder rates skyrocketing

  4. How many of you have been convicted of a felony? Let me tell you, when you get convinced of a felony that has nothing to do with violence or anything related and then the system tells you that you can never own a gun again to defend yourself or your family, you'll really give gun laws a good thought. I was convicted of a drug crime when I was 20 years old. That was 14 years ago. I didn't have any violent crimes on my record then and I still don't now. I'll never be allowed to legally own a gun for the rest of my life. What kind of fucked up shit is that? One strike and you're out for life? Then these crazy fucks gun people down with legally obtained guns? What the fuck is that? I should be allowed to own a gun to protect myself and my family in the case of an emergency but that's against the law. All these liberal fucks always yell "more background checks for firearm purchases" after some kind of shooting but I don't think that would help at all. A lot of these mass shooters lately have used legally obtained guns in their crimes. No prior record of them being crazy. You can't always tell when someone is going to snap. I just think it's bullshit that I can't legally own a gun to protect myself and my family because I broke a law that shouldn't have ever been written, even though I'd never shoot into a crowd of innocent people, while crazy people can buy guns and then shoot people later because they had a clean record. Gun restrictions aren't gonna solve this. There are always gonna be crazy people who go against the law while seeming to be innocent civilians. I think it's immoral to tell me I can't have a gun because I committed one crime in my life but all these other people can because they are "upstanding citizens". I believe a man's right to protect himself and his family should definitely not be infringed. The government and the cops don't care about us. We have to defend ourselves. When some piece of shit breaks into your house in the middle of the night and is coming to get you and your family, would you rather have a gun or a phone to defend yourself with? Around here, I'll take my chances and try to defend myself. If I wait till the cops get here, I'll probably already be dead.

Drug laws are fucked up. The war on drugs is fucked up. You can't buy more than 6 packs of sudafed at once, but you can purchase as many semi-automatic assault weapons as you like. WTF? The top ten killers in America are Health related but the republicans can't pass a decent healthcare law for our people? Tax cuts for the rich. Increase military spending to fight "Terrorism" expanding the national debt. What happened to fiscal conservative republicans?

The answer is ALL establishment politicians are bought buy big money donors. They don't care about the middle class dying from gun violence or heart disease. The establishment elite doesn't need them. Automation and globalization is the future.

Not sure how you got that. Gun violence and murders are high on the list behind all the health related deaths that republicans (and establishment democrats) also want to do nothing about. Hmmm. Now thats interesting.

But ohh boy are republicans quick to increase military spending to fight the "War On Terror" when you have a 1 in 45,808 chance of being killed by a foreign born terrorist yet have a 1 in 8,359 chance of being killed by a cop. And I'm sure those odds for being killed by a cop increase the darker your skin is.

  8. As was already mentioned several times here, there is no such thing as a semi auto assault weapon. That's like talking about a manual automatic transmission in your car. If you are going to pretend to be intelligent enough to discuss a topic you should probably at least try to learn the definitions and nomenclature of what you are poorly debating.

  9. who the hell are you?

    fucking nomenclature. GTFO

  10. I'm JWS, gun nut. Do I need to define nomenclature for you because it is very pertinent here. Maybe I'm using too many big words.

  11. The simple fact is gun control probably won’t make a large impact in solving the issue short of banning all guns which will never happen. On top of that the right wing portrayal of a good guy with a gun is bullshit most of the time. Rarely are there instances of people with concealed carry who actually do use their weapon for protection. Most people even who have a gun are not equipped to fire it back in moments of stress. Very few police officers are even really qualified for it. Sad truth is if someone really wants to kill you they can and the gun you have ain’t gonna do shit 9 times out of ten.

  12. I have no interest in debating the definition of your opinions. Bring some data to the table to backup your opinions and then we can talk like big boys.

  13. I guess we can't talk then cause your opinions and statistics don't trump my basic human rights and that's the end of the debate for me.
Just one of those things I refuse to compromise on in any way.

  14. No data to back up your "basic human rights". buh-bye.

  15. I don't need data to back up my basic human rights. What are you on about? I have the right as a human to do as I please and own what I please as long as I do not personally violate the natural rights of others. The scribblings of a sociopath on a pice of paper do not over turn them.

  16. That's not the real world. That blanket ideology of doing whatever you want as long as it doesn't violate others doesn't always work. If we follow your logic, everyone should have nukes as long as they don't violate each other.

  17. No you only get a nuke if you can afford it. What is this socialism where everybody gets free nukes?

  18. Well they're only expensive now cuz the cost of production is so high. I'm sure some money hungry capitalist NRA card holding entrepreneur will come along and streamline the production process to lower costs so not only can the average man have some assault weapons on his gun rack, but some tactical nukes as well. That whole Moore's law thing.

  19. Just another reason I believe in anarcho capitalism. It is already outrageously hard and expensive to legally or illegally acquire an assault weapon making it prohibitively expensive for the common person. Less restrictions and regulations will allow the market to thrive and drive down the price. Always a good thing.
