I’m more of a bass player these days - rocking on an Ibanez Art-B and building my own with my partner. As for guitars I’ve got an original spec alone Star Strat, an Epi Sheraton 2, an Epi LP that’s another restoration project, a Vantage SG, a Yamaha Pacifica, a Seagull acoustic and a Freshman 12 string acoustic. I play all sorts from Buddy Holly to Dream Theater (more like poor attempts at DT!!) but it’s good fun!
I play a '84 Ibanez roadstarr II a great strat, but it's so fckn heavy. I'm considering getting something lighter
I know, I know! Just trying to get the house in order before I start taking any kind of pics! Watch this space!
I just joined the grasscity forum today. I own both an electric (Eric Johnson Stratocaster) and an acoustic (Martin 000-28). I am mainly an acoustic player and am into playing country and Americana. As for listening, I am into almost everything.
Gorgeous inside and out. Still digging the vox but that’s cause the reverb delux is just to loud to play upstairs.
I love improvising stoned, making up some Sabbathic esque doomy power chord riffs then adding some minor pentatonic/blues licks in there.
A very talented friend of mine makes guitars (among other hobbies). He made this one and I told him I’d buy it. Super excited to get it. I plan to play it on the regular, but even if not, what a beauty to display!
