Guesstimation of yield from wet (fresh cut) weight

    I have a buddy who just harvested a lowryder #2 and he yielded 57.9 grams wet, does anyone have any insight as to what the dry yield may be? thnx

    im gonna guess somewhere around 17 grams

    yea thats what i thought as well. I just used the rule of thirds, so 30% of original weight.

    Just chopped yesterday and yielded 225 grams or so wet from one plant. I'm expecting to yield around one forth of that (or 56 grams) after everythings dried.

    Everyone says the "rule of thirds", but honestly after trimming and drying, I've yet to end up with a plant that wasn't closer to the "one forths rule".

    well this was 57.9 trimmed allready. He removed all the larger fan leaves and only the small leaves remained. The plant wasnt that big so hes not going to be removing any of the bud leaves since they are covered with triches:

    Dont forget to post the dry weight so i can see how close i nwas :D

    The 225gram weight I noted on my own plant was a already trimmed wet weight as well. I still expect to lose 3/4 of the weight. Just thought I'd clarify.

    My guess is 14-16 grams dry.

    ehh it was still worth it. I yielded 60 grams wet off my PC case sativa grow ( non low ryder). Not bad form some bag seed. Its curing right now so ill post that as well for you guys once the numbers are in.

    im working on a 3ft cabinet grow im hoping for 4 oz. dry every harvest, might also make a mother box so i can perpetual harvest
