OK I'm horrible @ these for the most part because I am too obvious so I'm using a less popular band w/ my noticably obvious hints: ~ This band's short-lived career started in 1991, and ended in 1996. ~ The lead singer was an original member of the Throwing Muses, AND the Breeders ~Said lead singer's most recent album "Lovesongs for Underdogs" ~ Their debut album was nominated for both 2 Emmy and 2 MTV awards. OK..... The members are from Brooklyn, NY. There are 4 members now but were 5 until Sal left right as they released their most popular album. They have a new album coming out this year, supposedly. "Forgive her, for she knows not what she does."
