so, i've been here a little while (hell, i've lurked for years, whenever smokedot got slow) but I never really got around to intoducing myself. and since i'm procrastinating today, I figured i'd say hi =) i'm a 21 year old girl from florida - i am a geology major. i also take business, but thats for the money, not the enjoyment. I can sit and talk about forceful injections, orogenous zones, cleavage and the like (geology is such a dirty subject!) for hours, but i cant make it through a 2 hour business class anymore. anyways, i like to hike and camp, but i'm pretty out of shape, so the longest hike i've done lately was the virginia creeper trail a couple weeks ago. i'm currently looking forward to a 6 week camping trip out west for field camp - it will be really demanding, but i think it will be an awful lot of fun. i'm a big trek fan, though i've never seen any of the original series stuff, and like to get my CSI fix in as well. i smoke a little more than is good for me, and usually wind up reading harry potter fanfic. hella good life i lead, i tell you =)
i always thought the phrase geology rocks was pretty funny...anyways welcome and for some reason i have to watch at least one csi a day, only lv, i don't like the otherones for some reason, it think it's the casting. do you watch house? not crime stuff, but i thinks it's pretty interesting.
yeah, i much prefer the LV, have only watched like 2 episodes of NY, was unimpressed. i dont watch house - i use a DVR, so I only tape the shows i want to watch - it ends up meaning I don't ever catch a new show. i'll set it to record one of these days - thanks for the rec
