well im new here and new to growing so i have some questions. as of now i have one large female plant; the top is very big and covered in buds but the bottom is kinda bare looking......now i know this is somewhat normal and i should clip the top so the bottom can get light and grow right? well im worried because the top buds are still covered in white hairs whereas the bottom ones are turning brown......does this mean the top still needs maturing? should i cut it off anyway? any help is apreciated!
You will need somthing to magnify the resin glands, to tell when the top is ready. A pocket microscope is $10 at radio shack. Add some CFLs to the bottom. OR if trunk of the plant is not too thick and woody, try to LST the plant. That will help the light get to the bottom. And will make the bottom buds grow.
