Hi all, i'm abit worried about my 4 week old plant after topping it at the 4th node, i did it by the book (or rather by advice on here!) 3 days ago with no other change to her everyday care. Can anyone help me out on how it should be progressing by now as its my first grow and first attempt at topping? The cut has gone slightly brown but other than that theres no difference from when i did it :/ might be worried for nothing but id be grateful for any input GCers
Give it some time.....you'll be okay. If you did it by the book, she'll recover and take off. Welcome to GC and good luck! chunk
My experience with topping is plant growth will seem slower since it wont be stacking on as much hight but rather spending energy on branching out. Don't worry
Ah, i get it now, i was expecting two new growths out of the stump, ive just checked her out and shes got the beginnings of new leaves starting yaay Thanks for the feedback, i can stop fretting now lol !
Looks good man, Im on my first grow and topped all my plants...There is a plant in my grow journal I call "Behemoth"...I was asking the same questions, and wondering why nothing had changed...well I topped it last monday, and the growth stunted for about 3 days...now each of those 2 nodes are like 6 or 7 inches tall...check it out in my grow
Aw yeah i checked out your pic, your behemoth looks in that pic like mine does now so im not too wrried, you've got some beautiful plants hope mine do as well as yours are!
