Ok i'll Be Honest, This is my first time growing... so yes i'm a noob. My question is.. Is there specific ways to ensure that the plants you grow are female? I have read that if you interrupt the 18/6 hour light cycle with an hour of light in the dark period the plants are more likely to be Female. I've also heard something about the soil PH. See I'm trying to grow in a very small space but I have done some research and figured out most of it so far. But I would like to ensure that the plants I am going to grow will be female.. Any Tips? Or any websites that anyone can suggest?
best way to promise a female grow is to buy feminized seeds, there are no little tricks you can do yo change your plant, interupting the light cycle will only make it worse, the genetics are in the seed before it sprouts, so it already has its mind made up, male, or female.
like disignagtedtoker said you really can't control if its going to be male or female. However the more stress you cause your plants during veg. the more likely the females will turn out hermi. So transplant as little as possible, keep a good PH (6.5-7), and DON'T interrupt there dark cycle. Good luck with your grow!
