GrowMoe's Motavation grow - 400w HPS

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by GrowMoe, Feb 3, 2011.

  1. I've just started another new grow. The grow is going be 4 Motavation clones grown in a tent under my 400w HPS with a few CFLs added. I've done a couple of grows with this strain previously, so I know of it's growing-pattern and what it needs. I'll veg them for a few weeks before switching to 12/12. Also, I'm thinking about having a Purple Palm clone in a 10 L pot in the middle of all the Motavations. The Motavations are in 25 L pots...

    The Setup:
Lighting: 400w HPS and two 23w CFLs
Medium: Soil, Canna Terra Professional Soil Mix (ph 6.3)
    Strain: Motavation (clones), Magus seeds
    Temps: Day: 24-29 C - Night: 19-22 C
    RH: 20-45%
Watering: Tap-water (ph 7.0 - adjusted to ph 6.5-6.9) every 3rd day or so.
Nutes: Canna Terra Vega, Canna Terra Flores, PK13/14
Other: Feed molasses every other feeding.
    Grow-space: 1m X 1m X 2m Grow tent.

So here's the tent how it looks now:

They are on 18/6 at the moment, and you can see two PPs and one weak Coletrain clone in the middle on the plate. Basically all the Motavations look like the two in the close-ups. One is struggeling a bit though, so I put a humidity-dome on it. I'm just going to let it be for a few days, and see how it does. If it doesn't root it will be replaced by a PP.

I'll check back in when there has been some development. Peace!

  2. Ok, so I rearranged some in the tent to make it more efficient. I took some more pics:

The clone under the humidity-dome is still not getting any better. It's not getting any worse either, so I think it could make it. It jut doesn't seem to root properly. Soon it's do or die... I'll just remove the HD and see if it makes it. If not, I'll replace it with one of those more healty-looking clones in the last pic.

In the last picture you have two Purple Palm clones, and one Coletrain clone that is not doing good at all. No growth, but no more yellowing to speak of either. It's like... inanimate. But it's not drying up, so it's not dead, right?
