growing?

    hello all, I am new to the fourms here. Ive looked here a few times before but never posted anything. I love weed and I have my medical card to boot. I have never grown it before and I am thinking of giving it a shot to see what happens. I saw a plant that was screaming my name when I went into the store that was pretty tall. My questions is what type of lighting should i use? I know many people use closets or have a building just for it, but can i just stick the plant on say a table in my house with a light over it for 12 hours on then off and it be okay?
