growing

    if im growing in a temperature controlled environment do i have to have the plants so close the the fluorescent bulbs

    what size is your light?

    its like a shop light its about 3 feet long

    i would keep it 2-3 inches from the plant if its not getting to warm. just put your hand under it and judge if you things it gets to warm to be that close but other than warmth compact florescent can be right on top of the plant

    I keep my floros within 1/2"-1" from the top of each plant. Floro's must be ridiculously close to be effective.
