I had a plant growing outside and now i have to take it inside. its a few weeks maybe months old by now and it about 18 inches tall. I am planning on having it grow in a closet and want to put in the right lights. I got 2 light bulbs today, both CFLs. It is soft white, 13 watts, 2700k, 120v, and i have 2 of these bulbs. So are they any good for growing a plant? here a picture of the bulbs theyre pretty small. http://www.cameroid.com/t/6dd5a25fff5532e81db995d17a630dae
That spectrum is good for flowering, but you will want more light than 26w. The general rule of thumb I follow is 100w for the first plant and AT LEAST 50w per each additional plant. I personally try to get 100w per plant
@Chirppy86...yeah dude i'd go with 100w it seems to be what everyone agrees on...though i'd be willing to bet two 42w cfl's would work ok too...and if you could add a few hours of direct morning sun to those babies im sure you'll have some dank bud. keep it green playa
yeah im going to try 3 42w cfls for one lady that should work...im not looking to grow a tree or get a pound... just some decent smoke keep it green
