Hey guys I'm sure that I'm just trying to create a problem out of nothing. But my seed sprouted in two days and the stem grew about 3/4 of an inch overnight. I have it under a fluorescent light about 3-4 inches away. Is it stretching or is it just taking its natural course? Is the fast growth a good or bad sign or should i just shut up and watch nature take its course? It looks healthy to me, but i am new to this. Thanks for any help!
Totally normal. Some will stretch as a seedling. I like to leave the pot 1/2-3/4 full when seeds are started then once they pop the soil and stretch I fill in the rest of the pot. It helps keep the stretch to a minimum and helps steady the plant. Roots will develop on the buried stem.
