  1. OK i cant get out to get some potting soil for 5 gallon bucket growing..I was wondering if I can grow by a stream cas usually good stuff grows there like grass and stuff i need good soil and i dont kno wat to look for in the woods to show me what good soil would be can anyone help me..

  2. well if you have the 5 gal pot, you would be able to use the soil near the stream, i can imagin that it would be pretty good. but make sure you put it in the pot cos being near the stream means that the soil will be to wet all the time. if im wrong then go ahead this is just something to look out for

  3. You don't want to use soil from outside for an indoor grow. You will probably introduce bugs and other nasty stuff into your grow space... inviting it to attack your roots. You need to hold off and buy some real soil... worst case you can bake the soil in an oven but it STINKS!

  4. buddha hes obviously gunna be planting outside and just plant in the ground or at the top of a hil where a spring is so you dont have to water it and not many bugs survive at 1000-5000ft above sea level. i know theres this big ass hill me and my dad drove up last time we were out in WV, and youre a lucky bitch its beautiful there, and it was such thin air at the top and the light has to be more intense at the top of most hills and since elevated level you dont have as many bugs and most streams start at top of hills and have very fertile soil so yea. if i were you id find a fly fishing stream and go to the top of it and find the spring it orriginates at and wade your way to the side that they dont fish from and plant a plant or two there. also if you decide to go to a fly fishing stream watch out for bears. my dad and i once went fly fishing with a guide and he showed us a pic on his comp of this huge ass brown bear that he saw once at this very remote and small stream he took us trout fishing at.
