Yeah you could probably do it on that. You might want to consider HPS though. HPS provides more lumen/watt and provides the light in a more appropriate spectrum than fluorescents (although this might not be true with the grow bulbs). HPS is a great technology that has been proven over the years. I don't personally grow with HPS (I am trying my hand with LEDs) but the more research I do the more I really think HPS are great. If I got to restart I would probably straight up by an HPS system instead of messing with the other things. http://cgi.ebay.com/150-Watt-HPS-Su...39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 And while these would probably both work fine for a single plant...if you have the room you should really put 2-4 in...you will get more of your light used (I'd say 4 if you have the room). Each plant will be smaller but you will get more in the end. If you have 4 plants you can position the light kind of in the center of the group so that it shines outward and most light gets used. One plant, any light shining outwards will mostly get waste. I guess you could come up with a clever mylar solution...but multiple plants seems like the best bet to me. Best of luck o/ Tieme
