Growing outdoors in a Rubbermaid

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by Jnx, Apr 19, 2011.

  1. I might try growing in a Rubbermaid as well as in the ground. For the Rubbermaid though, will I need to drill holes in it? If so, how many holes would be sufficient?

  2. What type of soil do you have? Thats what makes all the difference. I like my buckets with a lot of holes which makes me water a little more but better than no drainage in my book.

  3. Im planning on doing the same thing...i was thinking 10 gallon or 18 gallon rubbermaid totes per plant(i dont want them to get root bound so idk if 10 gal would work) ill be using pro mix. What do you think for how many holes and hole size for drainage. In FL
