Growing next to the sea

  1. To be precise, waste scrub land next to a harbour. It's tucked out the way and only accessible by water and I have a kayak, this is where I take it. I was considering maybe chucking a couple in the ground next season there, I have storage on my boat so can ship stuff there. But does the salty sea spray bring any unwanted nutrient changes or ph that would impact on it. Might try as experiment anyway. Land side makes it inaccessible due to a land fill.

  2. I live on the west side of 101(5 min walk to Pacific) in Orgegon, and the only issue is the marine layer. It likes to leave your plants soaked every morning.
