Hey im currently using 4 cfls.. the total lumens im using are 5700 and 82 watts for 1 plant.. and they are all 2700k i am vegging the plant at the time. please help wondering if this is good or not
I veg plants under about that much wattage, never flowered them though so I can tell you they grow great in veg under that amount of light but it may or may not be enough in flower. Also, get 4 different bulbs with a higher temperature. For veg I use a combination of 6200K and 5000K bulbs. I think its best to use all the higher temperature bulbs, but I only had 3 of those so the fourth ended up as 5000K. You will want to save those 2700K bulbs for flower.
