I'm trying to see if I can create a lineage of arctic grown cannabis adapted to 24 hour sunlight in the middle of our "spring" which is everyone else's summer, and our 24 hour dark around December with a couple hours of very little daylight. I'm wondering if someone can examine pictures of my plants that started germinating about a week and a half ago.
My soil is half regular potting soil and half soil from a field with lots of plants up here in Nunavut. 2 seeds came from indica, other from unknown. Fertilizer made from fish, narwhal fat and a few local plants.
There already is a variety of cannabis adapted to this similar scenario. They're called autos and they have cannabis ruderalis in their genes which is a variety found in northern Russia.
Like BNW said, no light no life. Use the auto flowers, their harvesting range is generally between 60-80 days, you could find a few earlier, but yeah that's what I would use in your situation. Sent from my XT1585 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
