if a landlord wants to visit youll be screwed lol live there dude, your paying for it. or like customs said, get a partner and he can live it in
to each his own but ive rented for the past 10 years and have only seen my landlords a handful of times.. even had a repair man in the house one time with my room in full bloom fixing my dishwasher this past year nothing was said nothing ever came of it... do like the others said keep the partying and loud noise to a minimum keep your yard up and pay your rent on time or ahead of time.
Im doing it in a rented apartment, in a really strict state that doesnt recognize medicine. Best thing I can say is, conceal light, focus on ventalation and air freshners to conceal smell as best you can, outside your op of coarse. You will most likely be fine if you just grow 2 or so. It only takes at most 12 weeks, so just make sure you keep on all the up keep, the smell isnt a problem for awhile. it would be better to own, but you dont and I dont so I guess you gotta play the hands your delt. Just my advice, get to know your landlord, my landlord is okay, she knows I smoke but thats all she knows, she has always gave me 24 hour notice to enter, and if not you got to work by night when you move all your shit out. Hope I could help
-having a good coverup story for your stay and do something related to it on the property on regular basis. -I would use a small generator these days they can phreak the bills for unusual high power usage. -Exchange the lock. I have been staying at locations the owner actually never visited or just once in two years with a few days notice in advance. -The biggest problem might be the smell people use to pick up small topics for no reason and then rumours will be around. -Mend some regular plants on the property- so they think nothing when they see gardening equipment.
-I would use a small generator these days they can phreak the bills for unusual high power usage. Sorry to be a newb but could you elaborate a bit on this? im interested
What do you mean the phreaking? These days it is computerized and depending on the state/city, sometimes there will be scans done by software for THESE unusual energy usage patterns. Not all energy supply companies cooperate to the same extend or will supply any data to authorities, but even if they DO NOT, if there is a hot tip by a snitch, THEY CAN request data from the energy supplier. generators for just a few kW can be surprisingly small of course they have exhausts, need fresh air, get hot, and will produce some noise. If you say a house maybe it has a room where noise is not transmitted very much to the outside- maybe put the generator there together with an air condition unit. maybe check, if you can, if there have been growop busts for weed in the area for instance for Detroit these bluelights can be seen in life action taking plants out of a house, on youtube, doing their business while actually scary things happen at the same times no one really cares.
renting a house for the sole purpose of growing would worry me...a good number of stories I see of people getting busted are from this. for example School librarian, man charged with running pot farm - Chicago Breaking News
So 10% does leave something to worry about? Too rich for my blood. Whoa, that changes everything. I assume that if you are not living there that you aren't renting an entire house just for a small personal grow. If you are talking about a large grow, commercial intentions, then you are in way over your head if you have to ask fundamental questions on a forum like this. I don't think anyone should take the risk of a large-scale commercial grow, and among those who do only the true pro's who know everything about stealth and leave nothing to chance have the best odds of coming out with their skin intact. Even still, those odds aren't great. Start small, learn, and stay out of jail.
You need to listen to Toasty. I would grow in a rented space but i wouldnt attempt a full house grow. Thats a bit much to start with. I dont think you have grasp'd the effort. time and money it would take to do an op on this scale.. Just think about it before jumping in head first. p.s We warned you
