hello grasscity i have a problem no matter what i do i cant get my temp anylower?? atm its 37c/98f can hit 100f at time? i am in flowering as of now and i know this will effect yeild, what will i do? any1 give me help pls?
@title lol But seriously. If it's an oven, I wouldn't grow in it. If it's a box, just go to the dump and pick up some free PC fans out of junked PCs. If you can't do that, ask your biggest PC nerd friend for a few.
i am growing in 4x4 tent lol its not literally a oven man hahha i have a 6inch exhaust at 350cfm, good suggestion about the pc fans tho
Oh. Well, try to distance your lights a bit further from the plants. 100 farenheit is okay, but it's not something they'll like. Additionally, try to turn down the ambient temperatures of your house a few degrees; that helps too. A few PC fans rigged together around the canopy and light fixtures may help drop the temps, hmm. Check your carbon filter, make sure it's clean and is getting enough airflow? What lights?
i have my reflector right next to carbon filter, at the top of tent, my ambient temps never get above 15c/77f i have a fan blowing at the 600w hps and just above the plants. the white cover around the filter is brown now.
Mkay. If ambient temperature is 77farenheit, then your problem is light distance. A 600w HPS put too close can literally cook your plants. Try raising the light by about 6 inches, see if it helps.
If your humidity is low you can put a bucket of water in there to raise the humidity a little. Will stop the buds from drying out.
whats wrong with these?? yellowing leaves and brown crusty. 3 weeks old cfls 2 125w maybe heat stress
Do me a favor? Give us a picture of the internals of the box. Plants and all. It'll give us more an idea of what's up.
thermoter is ontop of the white tower fan and the other fan with jug ontop of it is connected to intake.
Okay. I know what to do to help lower your temps. It may not get you into the range you want necessarily, but put a fan on the side of the tent level with the light, so that it's blowing the air over the light. Another option is to make a cooltube for the light and put a small fan blowing the heat upwards toward the outtake?
