growing in a field- yay or nay?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by steez, Jun 19, 2006.

  1. alright well i live with my parents and want to try and grow 2-4 plants outside using bagseed, even though its late to start (won't have anything to lose cause im not spending money), and I was wondering if it would be bad to grow them in the field behind my house?

  2. Yes, if it could get the owner of the field in bother.

  3. well, its a corn field, and im gonna grow it behind these rocks (a part of the field where corn isnt grown. i'm also not looking to have a plant taller then the rocks (about 4.5 - 5 feet tall). what i mean't was is it a bad idea plant-wise to grow out there

  4. Lots of people grow in fields. A Sheriff or Police Helicopter will fly over, spot the plants in a heartbeat, and have a car there in 10 minutes to take it. When I was younger, like 10, a person grew in my field and the cops came and asked us if we knew about anything besides corn in our field and we said no, then they told us about it.

  5. Your parents have everything to lose. Wait until you have your own place to grow.

  6. i wasnt specific enough, the field is a good 250 feet behind my house, and i would be growing it about 200 feet into the field, so i don't think that my parents could possibly be accused of being involved in any way.

  7. Growing on someone else's propety could be risky, what if they see you?

Heheh, I'm growing on goverment park property though, could be worse :p

  8. well, this field is HUGE, i mean like 400 acres huge. where i'd be growing would not look suspicious in my opinion, and also, the person who owns the field lives in a different town.

  9. If you don't think anyone will see you - Are there places around that would see you going onto the property?

Aslong aso no ones sees you - go for it!

  10. Growing on government subsidised boyscout property. Wait till the boyscouts earn that badge.

(backs up to my vacation property in upstate NY)
