CBD Oil Growing for CBD Oil

Discussion in 'CBD Oil' started by magical-wizard53, Aug 10, 2023.

  1. I live in PA, USA, and was wondering if I'd be able to grow for CBD oil for consumption for myself only? It looks like marijuana is illegal, so not sure where the line is.

  2. Hemp is legal.

  4. Yes, you can grow in your home, if approved by PDA. Seed and seed oils are generally recognized as safe in human food.

I want to comment on this post. Lot of stupid rules . Its mombo jumbo Can you legally grow it in yor state ? You can buy it for a legal place online sure . But again can you grow it ? Better talk with your lawyer All you need is a police raid thinking your legal to grow and your not .
Yes cbd is legal. But look at your local laws to double check. And if your cbd matures it will for sure spike the thc of the plant . So make sure you harvest before any milky is seen to stay legal. All states have a different max allowed amount of thc in the cbd plant .Its almost impossible to keep it under the legal limits. Most states are .05 to 1.0 % cbd allowed. So basically harvest weeks before there dont before thc starts to rise. What cbd commercial growers do. Collect a sample three weeks before they would be matured send it into the state . Plants keep growing the same state takes 2 to three weeks to send the report back. Grower then harvests the plants. The plants are not retested again. Meaning they matured another 2 to three weeks and the thc will be much higher then tested also cbd.
For best cbd let the plants mature just like cannabis .

  6. One problem with growing hemp for CBD (which is what I did this year) is it can easily exceed the limit on THC. Commercial growers have the hemp tested 30 days before harvest so that the stay legal. If you are in a state that only allows CBD production I think I'd forget it and just buy it.

  7. No you can not grow in a housing unit. License and approve from your state approve to grow . Here i michigan it will cost 100k to get set up in an indoor situation . Not worth it . Can grow cannabis instead 1500 plants . I did not open a grow op with cbd . To many hoops money state inspections are drastic . You really need to call your state before telling people they can grow in a housing unit .
Rec cannabis state inspections loop holes suck lack of profit .. One of the main reasons we sold our business.
