I have 10 plants currently growing 6 of them are perfectly fine and so are the other 4 except for the fact they are about 9 inches tall and only have the heads and the fan leaves all the other rows of leaves arent coming in you can see where they are,but they just wont leaf up? So i was just wondering why they arent and if i am just being impatient? Also im using a 400hps should iuse the 400mh for Vegetation stage????
if your useing that high powered of a light you should consider raiseing them. I dont know if thats your problem in this case but 1 foot about your plants can cost you crops if kept at that distance for long. 50+ cm is a good distance. Anything less then that can be deadly.
a foot maybe is a little close , but that wouldnt cause them to do what theyre doing ... it sounded like they are stretching .... you have 10 plants under the one bulb ??? how evenly spread is the light ??? how are you reflecting it to the plants furthest away from the light ?? it could just be crap genetics .... take a look at lucians grow journal (the guy above) .. you will see a big difference between a couple of bag seeds and some choice ak99's he's got going anyway should give you something to think about
Ok i have some good seeds i got from my buddy who grows i got some white russian and the rest are the "bag" seeds i just planted so i could fill the room. You said they could be stretching and i think your right. They are purely growing to the light and thats it only 2 of them are doing this now..... The rest look fine and are fillin out as they grow the light is in the center of the garden and i raised it to 53cm. I dont know if i should keep them or just throw them out because i think one may be a male anyhow cause the middle lower leaf is much larger then the ones growing around it. Which in many cases i've seen this happen they turn male 90% of the time. Thanks a lot guys I wish i had a cam so i could show you exactly what im trying to explain, but its the best i can do with nothing, maybe after these are done i can go grab one.
