    Hello,
I'm looking to grow plants indoors. Not MJ just regular ol plants. I know...boring right? But I was curious of what to grow. I grow tomatoes, watermelon, peppers and a few other vegetables outside but was wondering what kind of fruits or other things to grow indoors. Some off the wall weird fruit would be awesome.
Thanks for the input if there will be any.

  2. i personally suggest either plants that cant make it outdoors and/or plants that are useful in the home

mullien, great leaves for TP(think SUPER soft and stronger than 4-ply) also good foot pads for your shoes before taking off, flowers good for earache medicine and dried, dead stalks make good torches

soapwart for bathing, hand washing, dishwashing, fabric cleaner, etc:
    Soapwort Flower Seeds

basil and mint, other sweet smelling mints and kitchen herbs or potherbs for winter stews...

  3. Awesome post. Thanks! Exactly the kind of post I was looking for. I picked up a few bulbs of some very rare colored flowers. Gonna give those a shot along with the idea of your post.

  4. some flowers are edible as well, might look into getting some of them to add to your floral arrangements...

  5. what are ideal NPK ratios for most veggies?

  6. whatever NPK compost contains

  7. high organic matter in the soil is more important than NPK imho

  8. It depends on whether you want to go with ornamentals, herbs, edibles, or a little of everything and the natural sunlight you have available, plus what you are willing to spend on lighting and electrical costs. There are some great youtube vids on this subject. A great indoor crop of salad greens can be grown using T5 flourescents. Some herbs can flourish under them as well. If you're lucky enough to have a sunroom or large south facing windows, the possibilities are endless. There are many orchids that grow very well indoors if they are given the proper lighting, temps, water, and air circulation. I highly recommend watching some youtube vids on the subject. There are some veggie growers on there that use cannabis growing equipment to grow some amazing winter salad bars, and for not nuch money.

  9. passion flowers they look beautiful

  10. Pineapple

  11. I would recommend Kiwi. It grows off of a vine, delicous fruit, and somewhat easy to manage.

  12. Excellent, thanks. I looked into many. I found that blueberry and kiwi need to be pollinated to fruit so I went simple instead. Blackberries don't. I placed 2 blackberry plants in a 20 gallon tub then started California poppies in the other. They are taking off nicely under the 600.

  13. You can plant self pollinating Kiwi i'm sure I could find a link to a reputable seed dealer.

  14. I've got a pineapple, avocado, miracle berry plant, pink lemonade blueberries, ice cream bananas, peyote and granddaddy purp under my LED's right now. I wish ya the best man go grow some cool shit

  15. theres no better defense for your stealth closet than an awesome legal garden in the window

  16. dwarf citrus trees are nice to grow, maybe try growing some neat carnivorous plants!
