Growing 8 plants w/ 400w hps and 200w cfl Will that be enough lighting for all the plants and they are in a 4' x 4' x 7' mylar tent Also I only have ONE Valueline 6 Inch 435 CFM Centrifugal Inline Fan will that be enough for my baby girls?
I think the general rule for plant lighting is 100w+ for each plant, so considering you only have 600w of lighting total and 8 plants, you might fall short a bit. I've no doubt you could pull it off, but remember, the more light you have on your plants, the higher the yield, so you may want to invest in a few more grow lights in return for a fat yield down the road.
I think it's 100w for the first plant + 50w each additional plant. He tech. has 150w's more than he needs.
Someone once said 50W/sq.ft. which means you're a little short. More CFLs will help. By keeping the canopy even as possible (tie em' down to pot) and rotating ladies every so often, you can ensure even light penetration(increases yield). The HPS will be the bud builder-keep em close. Good Luck!
