growing 6 indica photo plants in solo cups

    hey I had a bunch of feminized seeds from one grow where I had accidentally let a big plant I had self pollinate so I thought for fun(and lack of bud) i would start 6 seeds and after two weeks of vegging i flipped them into 12/12 cycle,do you think I can leave them in the cups until they finish?Also alternatively I have storage tote that i cut the top half off so its basically a large wide pot now,I grew a monster plant in it at one point but I was thinking if I had to transplant the solo cups could i just transplant them all into this one tote?I just dont know if they will become root bound in cups thanks for any advice you can give me

    please note I realize these plants will not be giving me crazy yield,I have other plants growing at the same time as these in a different section of the tent on regular 18/6 veg cycle,these little guys are more for experimentation aswell as a little something to smoke while my other girls grow up

    I thought about it, tried it, and am about to phase a few out. Not trying to sound braggadocio, I just wanna show you something, as I am trying it also, but pulling nearly half from the race lol going to pot up 4 of them then let the others go through bloom. This is the difference I have experienced and am currently experiencing. The large ILGM Bergmans Gold Leaf, is exactly 1 week older than these smaller pots of various strains that (no BGL tho) actually started in solo cups.

    so are you suggesting i should consider take a few and putting them into my 18/6 because itll be just way more worth it?

    Yeah, those plans are a week apart and the difference... I’m going to finish this experiment that we both decided to try on maybe 5 and pot up the other 5. I’ve got some bag seeds growing that I want to give a chance.

    true I took your advice and grabbed the two best looking ones of the six and transplanted them to 5 gallon pots and put them into my veg section and I'm gonna let the other four just flower to see how much I could get out of a solo cup,cause if I can get like 8 grams per cup I might try to fill my entire tent with them for one grow sea of green style

    Hell yeah, that wouldn’t be bad. I have no idea what to expect from the 6 I’m going to try. I’ve topped them all, and they’re ready. I need to get them in my little tent ASAP. But waiting on another tent to get delivered. I might just cut my scrog out today and move my autos out then put the little ones to flower. I can’t pot up until these fools deliver my perlite lol

    haha nice i got some autos going in my veg too so im wondering which will finish flowering first the little guys i put into flower or the autos that i started a few weeks ago they are probably at least a month old

    JUST NOW recovering 100%, one plant was struggling lol. How about yours?!

    Yes, i think its interesting how you can actually grow in 16oz of medium, insane !!

    they are looking good bro ill take some pics of mine a little later but the ones that I put straight into flower are being kind of weird I cant tell if they are taking to it well they grew a bit bigger but I dont see any pistols yet

    Nah, we both had a bunch of small pots, we potted up what we could to veg, and switched the small pots left to 12/12!

    Any time lol I’m interested to see what we end up with. I’ve topped all my small pots once, I wanna see how much they produce lol right now my uneducated guess is one oz MAX lol but realistically I feel a half each!

    these may suprise all of us ya never know with cannabis eyes are not a good way of judging weight imo lol

    I know that’s right @Progrouk! My whole plan from the outset is dead lol winging it at this point! But my autos though sheesh They’re getting massive. What’ve you got going on?
