I live in southern ontario (toronto) and am looking to grow outdoors at my cottatge this season . There are so many options i dont know where to start... I live about 2 hours from my cottage in haliburton (minden) where plenty of people grow. I can only consistently go to my cottage on the weekends and therefor can only water the grow every seven days. 1. How much open area, if any do i need to grow atleast two plants? 2. Should i just plant them in a farmers field with auto watering systems? When do i plant ? 3. Where should i plant? 4. Can a plant survive if only watered every other week ? If not can it survive being watered only every weekend ? (Including rain) 5. Are there auto watering sytems for plants ? Homemade? Any help is much appriciated!
