Growin' in northern climate (norway)?

  1. I'm getting ready for the summer!!

From seed to sprout is no problem, however I'm wondering if anyone got some hints or tips on planting the little buggers outdoors in a northern climate as found here in Norway / Scandinavia.

Summer-temperatures vary from ca. 17'C to 28'C with a rather high humidity. Westcoast rulez, thought a bit wet at times...

What kind of soil-conditions should I look for. For security forests are preferable, obviously.

Planting times? Thus far, the best tip I've gotten is to plant 'em around June 1st. This due to sunlighthours are declining from this date onwards, triggering the flowering process. However; daylight hours might be, ehm, peculiar here up north. In midsummer 18 hours of sunlight is not unusual.

    Hope anyone can help!

    ...it's past 4:20... heyhey :)
