Hey fellow blades, has anyone had any experience with Growden or Apollo grow tents? Any major issues with the two? Zipper failure, light leaks, toxicity issues, poor ventilation design, etc. About to go shopping and I'm to brutal to own a $250 secret jardin or grolab haha any input would be great thanks guys and gals "To soon do we get old, to late do we get smart"
Be careful with buying cheap grow tents. They usually have cheap ass zippers that allow for a lot of light leakage. Not a problem if its going to be in its own room but usually that's not the case. I personally have an DR90 from Secret Jardin and I love it. Wish my supplier had had the DR120 when I purchased it but they were out of stock
Thanks for the input Canadian Been searching for a tent that won't make me cry when I accidentally rip a vent flap off or ruin a zipper repair! Haha "To soon do we get old, to late do we get smart"
Yeah no problem. Just like anything quality costs a little bit more but I could see this tent lasting 3 years if not more
I got a Milliard off of Amazon and am about to get another one. I have a 2x4x5 and am going to get a 4x4x6.5... As far as the "discount" tents go from what I have researched these are the highest quality. A lot of the reviews on Amazon actually state that they are better than the more expensive ones users had previously owned.
Ah! I've seen these! Looks like a solid tent, I was just a hair away from ordering one until I saw that "To soon do we get old, to late do we get smart"
Sorry stupid phone hit enter. But I noticed that milliard didn't run parallel exhaust ports for a contained air cooled hood? What the heck?! Does that cause any conflict with you when keeping temps down? I Ran a setup a little while back with a cool tube acting as the exhaust and it didn't do a damn thing to cool things down...then again I was running a 400 watt hps in a tent similar to your size in a closet with poor intake ventilation! I run LED and CFL so it's not a problem for me... I run a 440 cfm exhaust with a carbon filter and temps run in the 70s.
