  1. ok me and a friend are setting up a grow box in his attic and I have a few questions

    5'x3'x3'

-What material should I use to construct the sides of the grow box

-Where could i get the cheapest HPS set up, either online or at a store, also how much light should I use

What else should I get in addition to this list...

    -Fans
    -Ph meter
    -Temp gauge
    -Pots, soil
    -Moisture probe
    -Duct tubing for carbon scrubber
    -Ferts, what kind?

The attic is shared by the HVAC system so its pretty cool all the time. Any help I could get before I start buying stuff would be most appreciated, Thanks...

  2. I recommend plywood or similar for the walls. Some may say cardboard, personally I would be afraid of it catching fire.

Cheap HPS can be had at Home Depot in lower wattages, but you have the space for 250w. Try htgsupply-dot-com online.

Sounds like you've got the basics lined up, maybe add some mylar or be sure to paint the inner surfaces flat white. Also a good surge protector.

You don't have seeds on your list, I assume that's taken care of! ;-)

  3. you could build the frame out of plywood and fill in the gaps with contractor trash bags if you're on a tight budget.
